Hard Love

Hard Love

You tell me you love me.
But then you hurt me.
You tell me I'm the only one.
But then you say we're done.
I am so confused.
I don't know what to do.
How can I be the one you refuse?
How can I be the one you reject?
Just answer the questions.
Don't change the subject.
But you do.
So I guess I love you to.

Simple to the point of the subject yet the ending is? good write.

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
