Fairytale
You once lived a life so happy you thought it had to be a dream.
You didn’t think it could last so you woke yourself up with a scream.
Reality never truly set in because you were never actually asleep.
As much as you close your eyes you never find a dream as deep.
Who said a fairytale could never be true?
The only thing standing in your stories way is you.
Who said a fairytale could not exist?
It could all be real if you just wouldn’t resist.
There might have been a hiccup here and sometimes there.
But in all fairytales there are struggles and that is always fair.
Evil step sisters or in our case the most wicked witch of any story.
In every fairytale they had to fight for their everlasting glory.
Who said a fairytale could never come true?
The only thing standing in our stories way is you.
Who said a fairytale could not exist?
It will be real when you believe so don’t resist.
Every fairytale has its very own special surprise ending.
In the middle of the book hope always needs defending.
So someone will emerge that will keep the dream alive.
Buying just enough time to let your prince and hero arrive.
