When you take it all away

When you take it all away

At the end of the day

When you take it all away

Get rid of the makeup and flair

And you finally let down your hair

It doesn’t change the way that I feel

cuz babe you are everything that is real

Girl you and me have always had ties

And you’ve always been easy on the eyes

I’ve never seen anything quite like your smile

Seeing it just once makes life worth while

Amazing can’t begin to describe you at all

It’s no wonder I had no choice but to fall

It’s not enough to say you take my breath away

You alone could make me die or make me stay

I could get lost in your eyes for the rest of time

Your beauty is by far my favorite past time

Your touch is something from a heavenly place

Your scent alone makes my heart race

At the end of the day

When you take it all away

It doesn’t change the way that I feel

I love you

Now this is beautiful Clayton 3, it reads like a romantic country song. In this you've mastered rhyme rhythm and meter. the rhythm flowed with each meter and stanza. terrific

To have great poets there must be great audiences too.

Walt Whitman, American Poet (1819-1892)
