    Fabric of Life

I nibble on the fabric of life
    Slowly unraveling
    this nervous habit
    How much I've seen
    is too much to give
    the answer
As it spins in my head
    ...I smoke a broken cigarette
and listen to my cat cry
    for what
    she knows not
