Eyes Of Hazel One
Long ago,
A necromancer summoned the dead, and did forsee,
the shadow of an angel watching over me
'Your mirrored souls reflection will be cast,
in the meadow of your dreams clear brook of glass'
'She is to be, your sugar in the plum,
she is to be your eyes of hazel one'
Time seemed to pass the window like a rolling fog,
years of condensation grew upon the sod
Wading through anticipation to my knees,
seeking a cure to my deficiency disease
Then one day, like a spark decending from the sun,
rained down upon me, my eyes of hazel one
Love sometimes appears as if coincidence,
it draws back the curtains upon your 'truest' friends
The truth in thier intentions will be shown,
when the misery of your lonesome days have flown
For those of you who have chosen me to shun,
goodbye, for I've found my eyes of hazel one
Now, my happy ending stretches across the road ahead,
songs of beetles reverberating, vibrating within my head
Something in the way, she looks at me,
brings me closer to the man I longed to be
I'm on the right path even though my direction spun,
so long, I'm with my eyes of hazel one
The tides of change brought waves of joy,
and peace to this former whipping boy
Breaking the pasts surface, I transcend,
with my new found bestest friend
Sweet, as a smothered, southern sticky bun,
I love you, my darling eyes of hazel one
