    Eternity

    How is it
    that you make me
    yearn so?
    All stirrings
    ,in my soul,
    are for you
    and you alone.
    Your escence
    runs wild
    through my veins.
    Drugging me,
    warming me.
    Your sweet whispers
    in my ear,
    dance upon my skin,
    wrapping me
    in your silky voice.
    Time melts
    with your caresses,
    stilling day,
    stilling eternity.
    Never wanting
    these days to stop.
    The love,
    the need,
    the want,
    the passion.
    Our happy sighs
    floating upward
    entwining together
    as a whole.
    Your and my
    forever
    stretching out
    and swirling around,
    until our colors
    swim as one.
    Forever I could spend
    in your arms.

Poetry is not the expression of personality but an escape from personality.
