    Epiphany

What I want I can not have
    In my endless desire
    My weeping heart passing on

    Waking up with you
    Is my hearts desire
    To make you feel beautiful
On days you are weak, strong and in between

All I ever wanted was to watch you sleep
To run my fingers in your hair
To make you see that which is in my heart
Queen of my soul you have become
    Controlling my will
    Fight it I can not
    Nor would I want too

Weak I have become to you
My soul breathes nothing but you
I can smell you around me
    I desire to have you
    But nothing works
You haunt me like nothing before

The true philosopher and the true poet are one, and a beauty, which is truth, and a truth, which is beauty, is the aim of both.

Ralph Waldo Emerson, American Poet (1803-1882)
