    The Rain in My Head

    There is a storm
    Building in my head
So strong I drown in its winds
Even the moon can not save me
    This time

    It starts in my soul
    Build and raging
    Taking all that is good
    Twisting it for none

    Venting seems to not help
    Just breathing kills me
    Taking all that I have
    Destroying it

    Left with nothing
    Gives me grace
    Yet pains my soul
    Murdering my lust

    Smile no more
    Laugh never again
    Just knowing its change
Alone I am; with the rain in my head

Wow. That's all I can say. Very vivid.

    nicely crafted.

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
