There is No Heaven

There is No Heaven

There is no heaven
Just hell
Every time you say
It burns

Like we can’t matter
Like it will all just disappeared
Like it’s a meaningless bond
Meaning nothing to anyone

But nothing seems to matter
You just push and hate
Lose and repeat
A soul to be recycled

Let it go and be
Stopping gripping them
They are old straws
Not good healthy ones

Not what you should be doing
Not where you should be heading
Being turn to nothing but a lost past
Let it go

Does the good not count?
Is what was good a lie
I’m lost by your own words
Twisted into knots

Our words never seem to matter
Can I not help you better?
I know you believe there is no heaven
Just a hell

nicely crafted!!

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
