evidently, the apple of discord

reshaping the global economy

may take its course, so far.

But in the midst of all these things

a great deal of courage is needed

with people across cultures

willing to help and be involved.

Those living in poor countries

get a deeper inch of its effect

their cries for help and justice

prime issues to be addressed.

Hard to trace back its roots

the cause of economic loss

but with people of faith

lies hidden strength of hope.

Human reckoning to help

those who’re on the edge

their share of sufferings

set the tone for reflection.

The joy and consolation

for them in this generation

the heart of a Christian

to be kind and charitable.

Like sibling souls today

mindful of human situations

empathy in their own struggles

willingness to assume their roles.

It’s a landscape of otherness

it’s the truth of the matter

with Christ’s significance

more weight to be ethical.
