A blank life
When emptiness conquers life,
a sense of direction fades in the picture;
It’s a struggle involved thus far,
that happens once in a while.
When one feels discouraged,
he takes off and speaks no more;
He’s such a hard fellow to know,
quite a challenge to understand.
When one is prompted to decline
Like in any mission or task at hand;
he feels the tragedy of indolence
that negates the action of service.
When one isn’t able to see beyond,
unable to read the meaning behind,
there’s inability to seek with depth
as life may be empty, without profundity.
When one doesn’t believe in God,
especially in his own existence;
again, it’s going to be different
for life’s empty and without color.
When one goes with no sense of vision,
he’s confused and against dictation;
He wrestles with his own perception
life is hard with nothing else to start.
But like a ‘tabula rasa’ in philosophy,
this word reminds me of my studies
its challenging notion to everyone
describes an empty life, a blank life.
a sense of direction fades in the picture;
It’s a struggle involved thus far,
that happens once in a while.
When one feels discouraged,
he takes off and speaks no more;
He’s such a hard fellow to know,
quite a challenge to understand.
When one is prompted to decline
Like in any mission or task at hand;
he feels the tragedy of indolence
that negates the action of service.
When one isn’t able to see beyond,
unable to read the meaning behind,
there’s inability to seek with depth
as life may be empty, without profundity.
When one doesn’t believe in God,
especially in his own existence;
again, it’s going to be different
for life’s empty and without color.
When one goes with no sense of vision,
he’s confused and against dictation;
He wrestles with his own perception
life is hard with nothing else to start.
But like a ‘tabula rasa’ in philosophy,
this word reminds me of my studies
its challenging notion to everyone
describes an empty life, a blank life.
