  • wrote some new poems recently . . . tell me what you think plz!!!

deceiver

you must be defected
because i thought you were a man
but i see that you deceive
and your not what you perceived me to be
your deception must be an infection
cuz to tell the truth you can't
its like your mouth rejects it
living with so much regret
im out before thats all i have left
go spread your infection to someone else who accepts it
cuz now im too smart
if only i would've dipped out from the start

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.

John F. Kennedy (1917-1963) Thirty-fifth President of the USA
