Damaged
If I had magick power, bade each guardian
to leave their tower.
All our magick fell in line,
so all that I wanted,
hence would be mine.
Clocks would strike
the witching hour,
quadrants of earth
bring their special power.
Do my bidding! I'd behest,
four guardians
north, south, east and west.
In their powers I would share,
west water, south fire,
north earth and east air.
As each gift upon me fell,
I'd be given the strength
to cast my spell.
So tempting to take advantage,
to seek revenge
for all of the damage.
What would I conjure that night?
A gift just for you,
and it's called second sight.
I would not cast a spell for love.
Love gained like this
is damned from above.
I'd not cast a spell for harm.
Your earthly demise
is not the point of this charm.
My choice for reprimanding,
is to bring you
deep understanding.
You'll see the damage you've done,
to my heart,to my soul,
to my life one by one.
My quest is for you to see,
how the damage
effects my life endlessly.
Ways it has changed me inside.
No sense of trust,
because you always lied.
You'd be forced
to watch all of my pain,
watch as I drown
in your torrential rain.
You'd see my shattered pride,
as it cuts deep down inside.
The only problem I see,
is this quest does nothing
to try and heal me.
and though its goal is managed,
I'll still remain
irreparably damaged.
