Child Hood Town
As I stand upon this mountain side this dark and gloomy day
As the rain falls down, the thunder clashes and the black clouds hide the suns rays
I look at the town of my child hood youth, remembering the pain it caused
I remember the names I was called for being different, and the eye's I use to feel as I walked by
I buried the fear and hatred I felt deep inside
No more can be buried, there is nowhere left to hide
As the lightening comes down around me, I hear the voice of vengeance coming from inside
I hear its laughs and read its thoughts
It screams at me, my tears to stop
Time to let the hatred go, time to let those who hurt me know
Just what they did, that I did not show
Now I know it is time to fly from this mountainside and right the wrong
That was caused to me in my little childhood town.
