    Waiting

Every night for the past week she has been waiting
waiting to here those musical words that he is still here
and every night just the same he never calls her name
he tells her to be waiting
but she thinks she is wasting her time
    for he never shows up
is she crazy or is she blue
to wait and wait the way she does
she cries from fear of hurting him but
    doesn’t know if she is
so she’s crying for nothing some would say
but they don’t know her that way
a lot of emotions she holds on to
for fear she is waiting on something that
    that will never return
it has happened once before when he walked out the door
she hopes it will never happen again so please get in touch with me my friend

    Love grows, waiting within!

Poetry is finer and more philosophical than history; for poetry expresses the universal, and history only the particular.

Aristotle (384 BC-322 BC) Greek philosopher.
