    Blinded

I'm staring at you from across this wide room,
but you don't seem to care,
every single time you beckon me i linger,
because when i'm by you i'm safer there,

I know that i'm not enough,
    to fulfill what you want,
and i'd honestly do anything to change,
but i'm afraid to be alone when i'm depressed,
    because i'm not always sane,

    You control my every action,
    you manipulate my mind,
when i'm by you its like i feel a chemical reaction,
    brewing deep inside,

And despite the confusion and woe you cause,
    the heartbreak, tears, and pain,
i'd rather suffer by your side,
than miss out on a single day.

Thank you Lonewolf! I love insight on any of my work1

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

    Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
