    Because of you.

I open my locker, to grab my books.
I have your picture, there, for all to look.
I smile, as I gaze upon your face…
You light up my life, you give me your grace.
How I came to deserve you, I’ll never know.
But I promise you this: my love, It’s gonna show.
I long to take your hand, walk you through theses slippery halls…
But, don’t worry, with me, you’ll never fall.
I’ll take you anywhere you want to go, as long as you let me hold you close.
To be honest, I’m the one that’ll ever love you the most.
I never want to say goodbye, I never want to watch you walk away.
For me, these feelings, this love will never fade.
One day, I’ll promise you forever.
But until then, my love, my valentine, I’ll just promise you I love you.
You’ve taken my breath, you’ve given me a clue.
I’ve been given a reason to live, all because of you.

I really like this poem. Well written and upbeat. Great job.

If I feel physically as if the top of my head were taken off, I know that is poetry.
