Angel's Eye's

  • Even if you are on the right track, you’ll get run over if you just sit there.

Angel's Eye's

If you could look close and deep
You would find she'll never sleep
Much love dwells within her heart
To understand her is a start
For she’s worthy of loves name
She gives to all just the same
For multitudes she has pity
Her love covers every city
Angel’s eyes see to and fro
Where she’s been, where she'll go
Through the day, through the night
Angel’s eyes are shining bright
In the morning noon and eve
Know that she will never leave
All the children in her care
They find love and safety there
From her birth until her rest
Angel gives her very best
Through the sadness and the joy
With her love she will deploy
Doing the right, shunning the wrong
Angel’s eyes sing victories song
Lead and guide you along your way
Shielding you from day to day

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.

John F. Kennedy (1917-1963) Thirty-fifth President of the USA
