    A new Life as a Vampire
     
    Well now its my turn, cast out to immortal purgatory,
    Feeding on blood to live in the first category,
    Hmm, well I better be handsome, sought after in the eyes,
    Attracted by many, there is no reprise,
    I didnt seek just one in life and I wont do the same there,
    Hello how are you? and you, and you, and you my lady over there,
    I guess vampire or human one thirst could not be quenched,
    The desire of woman feverent and unflenched,
    To my credit, my charm is my strength, it will lead me through my purgatory life,
    Make the path easier, in ways that there could easily be strife,
    This isnt so bad, ill have the best of everything,
    Even the skill to defend myself, which is as good as anything,
    A damned soul can get,
    Tis the price I pay for chasing a woman, sh$t, now im bit!

    Well done! Very well written, did not like the last line, thought it was self indulgent and detracted from the rest of the poem. nevertheless, great stuff.

    Were you paying attention to what was said in the poem? The entitre poem is self indulgent, the last line punctuates that. But, oh well if thats how you feel, thats how you feel. :)

    Also, i wrote that last line to show how the vampire (or myself portayed in this case) comes back to reality, everything written was what he thought of once he was bit. I guess a backwards journey if you will. :)
