    Your Day

The darkness fills the room, the shadows start to stir. Your breathing becomes shallow. Whats happening to you?
Your heart is pounding, your spirit soars. You reach and can't open the doors.
The blood is racing through your veins, your head get lighter. Now there comes this feeling that everythings getting brighter.
A smile creast your face, your hands stay in place. Can't believe whats going on. That this day have finally come.
Panic struck you in the heart, now your day is about to start.
Grab your things, its time to go, don't slow down, don't go slow. Move your feet, get in your seat. People are waiting, others are hating.
The darkness tries again, this time you will win. My comment to you here on this day: "Never let the world sweep you up and take you away. Plant your feet and learn your way".

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
