My Black Men
My strong black men, stand up and take pride, stop living a dream, stop living a lie. You are a great nation, with too much self pride, show the world that you are alive.
Killing each other just for a piece of the pie, stabbing for shoes, and running from all your wives.
You should hold on to the one you love, stand up and look to god above, he was a strong young man when he made you, now that he's older, you are through.
Taking life for granted, showing kids a wrong way, then to my house to stay. Get up and be somebody, stop laying around waiting for a hotty. Take care of your kids, show them what's right, help them carry on in life.
My black men you have so much to gain, the city, the world, or nothing but pain. Quit blaming everyone for your mistake, just because you didn't get a steak.
Please show me I'm wrong, take his hand and be strong. For he is the almighty king, stand besides him and complete the dream.
