    As We Lay

Bodies wraped in each other, covers thrown on the floor, legs intwined and heat generating off our souls.
Sweat pouring, moans weiling, family and friends knock, yet we don't get up.
    As we lay.

For just that moment, I belonged to you, for that moment, you was all mines. No one could steal those memories in time. Those were mines.
    As we lay.

Claspping our hands, kissing my neck, rubbing my body, you knew that whatever you do, I belonged to you. Reaching the top of our mountain, all I could say was " as we lay.

The sun greets us, the mourning star is gone, time for you to go and my love for you carries on. Time has begun and life continues too. But for just that night, you was mines and I had you.
    As we lay.

Back to her you go, back to her, you must leave, taking one last look at me, knowing that when you walk through that door, returning you won't be. Sorry but, that was a moment in time,
    as we lay.

nice, erotic and melancholy, all in one poem... I like! Write on!

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
