    Your Alone

How can it be so fun, to cripple them then slip away?
How could you do what you've done, and never question who you've destroyed in the wake.

Leave them, let them bleed, who cares it's not me.
Seems to be the mantality of all of your evil deeds.

I know they'll get over it, seems to be the notion on your mind.
But, it's not so easy to forget the devestated path you left behind.

Memories fade away and people move on.
They will live to see another day and your on your own.

I think the simple rhyming style used here helps one to magnify the message.

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
