The begining soon becomes the end, is it heaven or hell?
I have fallen again, this time catching myself.
Life has it's ways of bringing you up and shooting you down.
It's the things that you say, that keeps me hanging around.

Slipping into a life, with fear of the unknown.
You're my guidance and my light without you I'm alone.
As I slowly start to realize the life I want is unreal.
I gaze into your eyes--pain and uncertainty is what I feel.

Letting go of you will be the biggest obstacle I will face.
But, I want whats best for you no matter what it takes.
I will always love you more than you'll ever know.
Its almost unbearable to have to let you go.

I hope that one day you will see me for who I am.
Then you will know I'm genuine, not another desperate man.
Maybe one day down the road we'll be together then.
But, until that day comes I will always be your friend.
