Winter Rememberance

Winter Rememberance

When autumn winds blow through me
And I am drawn back to a shining sea
Then
Dear winter shall I remember thee

When voices no longer sway me
And Reason no longer grips me
Then
Dear winter shall I be with thee

When all the sands I’ve clutched are set free
And I awash beneath that shining sea
Then
Dear winter shall you encompass me

Winter on winter cannot get much better. I love the remembrance of the season repeated at the end of each stanza. ginga

This is as airy as a snowflake falling... I love a poem that offers comfort - a smooth flow.... 10 Soul

If I feel physically as if the top of my head were taken off, I know that is poetry.
