Emily Walking Through Trees
She stalked down the leaf covered pathway
Leaves shin deep scattered in her passage
The trees bent in homage with the breeze
The bare branches swept up in her sway
With her raven hair and pale visage
She in turn was moved by the woods pleas
Stretched her arms outward along the way
Note for note and message for message
Showered in reds, browns, and golden ease
