    Poem Commentary

So, It seems this may rub off to you as confusing. It's 4:59 a.m. and I am not feeling so good. Me emotions were bottled up and I am upset. I transferred it all into a lovely, confusing poem. >///< I hope it's okay. It's a bit amateur.

    Where does your heart lie?

    Blinding dark nights
    Every little unfamiliar noise
    Tensing body and frightened face
Your fears and tears following place
Ripped from a soul and doubting trust
Your love has become over-ruled by mighty lust
    Raging wars, inside out
Melancholy movements to make them all doubt
That pretty little smile upon a hidden face
     You hid in the vengeance
Revenge is so sweet to taste
Confusing the others as you follow on through
The summer moves on to a beautiful fall
Where does your heart lie in the midst of it all
Stolen from your very own chest
Took away your very own breathe
    Strong emotions lay dead
Only the sadness shall lay in your head
You resist the urge to pull the  very trigger
To take your own life would be very much quicker
End it all and leave them to wonder
Why your heart was lost and you into blunder

One must decide where their heart lays, so many paths to choose from. Many crossroads in life to face, a person must decide to take the high road or low road on a daily basis. Enjoyed the read.

Thank you so much, and I agree.

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
