Poem Commentary

Like every poem I have written on here, my emotions seem to switch each sentence. I'm just so confused and tired.

My tears, they hide.

Crying with lost tears
They seem to be shy
They hide their shy faces
In eyes that are so lost
Mind wandering to every emotion hidden
If you could speak the words in your mind
Yet, you hold them back
All the time
Screaming with an inaudible voice
It would seem impossible
Lies of love
Thoughts of trust
Words of confusion
Bring me to the end
Where my mind is made
And you’re with me.

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
