When We're Alone
When we're alone,At home with no-one around,
You'd call my phone,
And we wouldn't have to make a sound,
Tell me you love me,
When we're alone,
Say what you really feel about me,
When we're sitting side by side at home,
But now I'm wondering where you are,
You don't call me late at night anymore,
You drive by without stopping or waving from your car,
And there are always people with you; I can see through your passenger door,
What happened to us only needing each other?
Was it something I did or said wrong?
And now when I ask you say "Don't bother",
It's been ever-lasting, heartbreaking, nights alone in bed,
Now I look back and ask myself why you never said "I love you",
Back when we were alone,
At home; Only you and I,
Everything had faded into nothing; now I can sleep at night alone.
