I'm still here
You hide from me inside yourself,
You cover your footsteps with your illusion drowned mind,
You run into the shadows; the shadows acting as your mask against what you really felt,
Yet your so easy to find,
I’m still here,
Locked in your heart and mind,
There is nothing to fear,
I never really died,
Don’t hide yourself away,
Look through the deceiving haze,
See things the right way,
Not through a blinding gaze,
You shrunk to the floor at night,
Tears stinging your eyes,
Holding your pillow tight,
Looking at my picture with soundless cries,
I’m still here,
Locked in your heart and mind,
There is nothing to fear,
I never really died,
You can’t see me anymore,
And you can’t feel my every touch,
But please don’t close that door,
I love you too much,
You can’t hide the pain your feeling,
You can’t cover your heart being slowly ripped from your chest,
And you can’t run from your fear of never healing,
Until you end this I will never be at a peaceful rest,
I’m still here,
Locked in your heart and mind,
There is nothing to fear,
I never really died.
