What's in Between?
Is there anything between love and hate?What other kind of risk is there to take?
A void in between, essentially lost in time;
Memories holding together the pieces in one long unbroken line.
Years could pass without love or hate,
Where one lies in seclusion as they just wait.
Wishes bounce of walls that don't grow old,
Until one day the cycle starts again where it's never cold.
A happiness exists, which is unexplainable to any;
It feels as though it will last forever in a land of plenty.
Then the dawn of another existence comes for the ones with no sense,
A paradise fades once again into a foliage - Oh so dense!
So what's in between that leads us from one extreme to another;
Perhaps choices made in the middle are what push us into or away from each other.
Many of us are stuck in our own flowing restless haze,
Not choosing to wake up and pull ourselves out of our sightless daze.
Can that seclusion last forever? Hopefully not.
For life won't stay on hold for eternity - Eventually, it will have its own shot.
