    The Lies to Believe

    Negativity only breeding hate
Nowhere to turn, stumbling and falling, never filled
    Empty.
Always telling yourself you’re good enough alone
But it’s lies and just keep saying that; maybe you’ll believe
Neither here nor there, stuck in between the worlds
    Which one will claim you?
Cry out to the Strength or whisper silently to the Earth
Claim a choice; make it your own
The clouds will arrive and catch up
Swirling chaos, never-ending night caught in the smoky breeze of eternity, grabbing the weary sleeping souls
War is ending for some, not all.

This one has a hard line, yet to understand the difference between believing anything, or nothing... We still have to make the choice... Nice write...

Poetry is not an expression of the party line. It's that time of night, lying in bed, thinking what you really think, making the private world public, that's what the poet does.

    Allen Ginsberg (1926-1997) U.S. poet.
