Violence
There is violence in the snap of your voice
Violence is your choice
Violence in the way you stand
Violence in every reprimand
Violence in the gleam of your eye
Violence in every angry sigh
Violence in the curve of your hand
Violence as you mark me with the smack of your brand
Violence in your fist
Violence in every word you twist.
You are violence
Your soul held in never ending silence.

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
