Torn Me Apart

Will I ever be okay again?
You've torn me apart limb from limb,
And I don't think that anything will change
How could you turn away?
You don't have to live like this day by day
Feeling empty and alone, waiting for nothing to come
Heartache and disaster,
I wish this crash would happen faster,
Speeding towards rock bottom, I'll never be the same
I'll never hear you call my name,
I'll always live with the shame,
Of having myself to blame,
For falling in love with someone like you
A person so see through
Completely void of anything true
Or good hearted or pure.
You make me sick.

A touching poem of love lost. Emotions flowed in this poem. A good read.

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
