    Poem Commentary

About to leave for work, felt like writing something.

    Dreaming

    I don't know where I'm going,
But I do know where I've been,
No other place seemed safer than you,
I'm just wondering when this will end
Hoping one day I will see,
This beautiful girl in my dreams,
    Wrapped in my arms forever,
    You and I together
It seems like such a distant thought,
Who knows if it will ever be true,
All I can do is sit here and wait,
Wait and hope one day I'll see you,
    You and I together,
Put my arms around you forever,
I hope one day to see,
This beautiful girl that can be,
The only thing to lift my spirit,
I just can't wait to here it,
    Her beautiful voice waking me,
It's no longer an innocent dream...

In science one tries to tell people, in such a way as to be understood by everyone, something that no one ever knew before. But in poetry, it's the exact opposite.

    Franz Kafka (1883-1924) Czech writer.
