This life of ours....
Take a moment, and share it with me.The sky, and the land, the never ending mystery.
Mechanical timepiece that manipulates our freedoms,
arrive on time so we can buy, and really we don't need em.
Focused, worrying, about clothes and phones and cars, all the things that belong to you, not on what is ours.
This moment is mine, and this moment is yours, some of us are sleeping while others fight our wars.
Ignoring those around you, unaquainted, don't exist, hesitant to lend a hand, more likely it's a fist.
Im guilty, we're all guilty, its so hard to trust and share,
Society says build your wall, act like you don't care.
This is our water, is our dirt, is our air and is our earth,
and ever since our birth, it gets broken down for worth.
one common goal, to unite us as a race,
before we lose control we need to look beyond a face,
look beyond our fears, look beyond ourself,
wipe away the tears and put the anger on the shelf.
How come theres not enough, when so many have so much?
why can't we get beyond all that we know is wrong?
One voice may seem so pointless, when so many don't agree,
but if you never use it than noone will ever see,
we all come from the same thing so somehow we think alike,
must stop society from saying what is wrong and what is right.
So walk with me this night, let my moment become ours,
a start of a community all reaching towards the stars.
