Stubborn

Stubborn

On my own...
Far from grown, still unknown
Nearly a decade since I had a home.
Tired but I wont stop
wether bottom or the top
tick tock tick tock,
the ultimate pressure,
time that we measure,
most would quit,
I would be wise to,
Strive to be exquisite,
I close my eyes through-
The pain and the struggle,
Push on until see double,
All of this I juggle,
Until it all will tumble,
More than I can chew,
In this bite I pursue,
It hurts and it stews,
stays on my chest and mind,
No way to unwind,
Only forward, no rewind.
Push on, Keep moving,
Accomplishments are soothing,
This bumby road is slowly smoothing,
One step, Two steps,
Don't look down just get it.
Your a stubborn little bastard,
Don't ever forget it.

This is very strong. And the rhythm is awesome. I love it. Way to go.

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
