    Poem Commentary

    I recently had a dream that the end is near.  It is a dream that I keep having and NO I am not crazy...

    The end is near

     I am taking time to write this
    Although time is not enough
    The end is coming
    And this I don't bluff

    We need to be praying
    and taking the time
    To tell GOD how much we love him
    and how sorry we are this time

    Between us and GOD
    We know what we've done
    We did what we could
    And sacrificed none

    Our souls are on fire
    But hell is not the way
    GOD take me home
    This is what I pray

    I know that I'm unworthy
    And I hope he forgives
    My life has been hell
    But I am trying to live

    So now in conclusion
    We find a way
    To tell GOD we love him
    In heaven we must stay

    True none of us are worthy from the day that we are born, yet we live and give all the credit to God above - it is wonderful that you have shared your convictions with poetry and honestly. Keep creating - Write ON!

    Awesome job, I really liked this one the format and flow made for an enjoyable read. Great work. I've often wondered if we can ask for forgiveness on our death bed and stil be saved? But, I guess it would be foolish to take that chance.

    ALOT OF PEOPLE REALLY DONT UNDERSTAND THE DEPTH OF THIS...JUST A LITTLE KNOWLEDGE TO ADD..THE BIBLE SAYS WHEN ISRAEL BECOMES A NATION THIS GENERATION WILL NOT PASS AWAY! iSRAEL BECAME A NATION IN 1948...SO HOW CLOSE ARE WE? MAYBE TODAY!!!

    In heaven I pray that we go one day, hopefully we able to live our life out and do we he ask us to do before we go. very interesting write. the flow and rythme in this poem are great.

    Thank you, I wrote this poem in about three minutes I could have done better

    When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
