The Day After..........
Standing in line people from all walks of life.
Waiting patiently for a meal for it only comes once or twice a year. How bless are we for today we eat.
We see the kindness of these volunteers working hard to easy our pain knowing the day after will not be late.
As I make my way to the top of the line, I'm greeted with many smiles and hugs from ones who are just one paycheck away from standing in line with me. As they fix my plate I say a quite prayer Oh Lord please make their hands heavy so I can put away some for the day after.
USA Today say nearly 18,000 children die each day from just pure hunger. Who's the blame for this shame surely there is enough grain on earth to feed all of God's children even those who don't care to know him.
What will I do the day after, Oh don't get me wrong I do thank the God above. For It is not he but ones like me full of greed who continue to take more then they need.
Some blame God for this mess but I know way better then that. So I will continue to thank him for each day I raise knowing that soon there will be no worries about the day after.
