Poem Commentary

I wrote this piece on a whim and build it on 2 words foolish one.  I hope u guys like it. Infiniti

Foolish One

Foolish one how long will you sit in that stuper worrying about what should or shouldn't had happened in your life.

Will you continue to lie there in that foolish state until you can no longer escape.

Foolish one you wear your past well, like an old comforble shoe that continues to console you.

Tell me how long will you let your loved ones pay the price because self pitty feel so nice.

Your brain still has the ability to dream what can actually be, but your fears has become so great that rigor mortis has set in and now refuses to let you escape

As you seek profection to get the approval from those who are too self-absorbed to even know you exist.
It is clear to me how foolish one can be because he refuses to see the beauti inside of thee.

there is real wisdom here - and your voice resonates with it. I'd edit for typo's - otherwise a really strong write.

I like this. too many live in the past and refuse to grow. There is so much that lies ahead if only we open our eyes and let the light in. nicely done.

A poem of admonishment directed at one that has evidently lost interest in helping themselves Nice write.

The true philosopher and the true poet are one, and a beauty, which is truth, and a truth, which is beauty, is the aim of both.

Ralph Waldo Emerson, American Poet (1803-1882)
