Sticks and stones

Throw  a stick and I  might get struck
Throw a stone and I suppose I’ll  duck
But throw a name  that sticks with me for ever
It’ll hurt just as worse, no matter how clever

This witty humor translates as disrespect
you say these words unaware of there effects
You laugh and claim its just a joke
A needle isn’t funny especially when your poked
This  is more serious than it  may seem
Sticks and stones brake bones
And names lower self esteem
