Cry

This life hasn’t been the same
Every thing has changed
And it’s a shame
Where can I find you where do you reside
I’ve  looked and looked
Lord knows I tried
This fake smile I put forth
Isn’t  intended to deceive you
In fact the opposite
I wanted to believe you
When you say your here
I want to hold you
When you say your near
But when you don’t
I let out a cry
Until my cheeks are soaked
I  cry

I love this poem as well. Excuse me but I can actually see a very small baby crying with these thoughts in each tear... Seeing as though we actually don't know the thoughts behind their little bawls...Good work!

aww...i like this poem. Its very touching and i dont know what to say i just love it. lol

In science one tries to tell people, in such a way as to be understood by everyone, something that no one ever knew before. But in poetry, it's the exact opposite.

Franz Kafka (1883-1924) Czech writer.
