SPORT OF LIFE
THE SPORT OF LIFE , IS HARD TO PLAY
RULES ARE CHANGING, EVERY DAY
YOU THINK YOUR RIGHT, YOU TURN UP WRONG
CAN'T KEEP UP, FOR VERY LONG
BUT IF YOU TURN, TO LOOK BACK
YOUR ENEMIES,WILL SOON ATTACK
THE WRINKLES START, TO GROW AND GROW
YOUR MIND BEGINS, TO WORK SLOW
THE THINGS YOU KNOW, ARE FLEEING FAST
HOPE FOR RETIREMENT, AT LONG LAST
IF YOU LIVE ,UNTIL THAT DAY
NICE TO KNOW YOU, IS ALL THEY'LL SAY
SOON FORGOTTEN, ALL YOU'VE DONE
MIND AND BODY, BECOME ONE
BOTH ARE WEAKENED, BY THE YEARS
THINKING BACK, YOU FIGHT THE TEARS
BODY BROKEN, AND SO FRAILE
NOTHING LEFT, FOR YOU TO TELL
GRIEVING FAMILY, GATHERS ROUND
MAKING ONLY, MUFFLED SOUNDS
DRAW IN DEEP, AND SEE THE LIGHT
ALL THE DARKNESS, IS OUT OF SIGHT
THE BEAM DRAWS YOU, OH SO NEAR
TILL AN IMAGE ,WILL APPEAR
WITH A TOUCH,YOU REGENERATE
NOW YOU KNOW, YOUR TRUE FATE
IF YOU BELIEVE,WITH ALL YOUR MIGHT
YOU WILL FIND,WHAT IS RIGHT
HE SAID, IT WILL BE SO
THERE'S NOTHING ELSE, YOU NEED TO KNOW
HE SAID , BELIEVE IN ME
AND IF YOU DO, YOU WILL BE FREE.
