MY DOG
MY DOG
My dog smiled at me today and said thanks Pop
The food you gave is fit for a dog and not hog slop.
You know when I lick your face I think of all the junk I licked before,
Yea the things I ate that were dead and made me sick on the kitchen floor.
My dog says he likes to run and and laugh and play.
And when he sniffs another dog doesn't mean he's gay.
Dogs just like to be social and they invented scratch and smell,
They chase the cat around the house just to hear him yell.
Dogs howl at the moon because they see a face there too,
And the man in the moon winks back cause he has nothing else to do.
You think your dog is your best friend because he stays close by,
Well you know you would do the same in his place if you had a try.
Mans best friend I have to say always stands by you every day,
Never complains no matter what you do or what you say.
Do you think when he's all alone and there's no one there to see.
My Dog secretly wishes to run the hills, the dells, the valleys and be so free.
