    Spirit Of A Friend

Finding a true Friend is a Treasure

Finding words alone can't be measure

They hug me when I need it, They cry with me when I'm sad,

When words that I say spill out that I don't mean they don't get mad,

They are a rare and unpolished gem,

They are a bright candle that never can go dim,

When you feel awful the burden they will carry

Yes, a true friend makes my life so merry!

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

    Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
