Words can be uplifting
Words can be sad,
They can let you down
They could make you glad,
Words can hurt and and form deep pain,
They can ask for forgiveness and make you well again,
So be careful, watch what you say,
The very words you use might make someone's day!
A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.
