    Amazing Father

God see my weakness and my defeats, Watching over me when I'm awake and when I sleep,

Carrying me when I'm broken inside, For a love that could have been or a love that has died,

Gently hugging me taking away my cares, Forgiving me where no human would attempt to dare.

Not giving up on me when I have completely turned my back on him, Leading me when the steep pathway is  so dim,

He beckons me to run back to him with arms open wide, He silently whispers child I never left your side.

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

    Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
