Poem Commentary

So, now he keeps calling, saying all these things that lonely ladies want to hear ...but this one knows better and has a handle on the unhappy outcome of this scenario.

Richard is married (part 2)

Here’s a dumb-ass suggestion,

Don’t ask the question!

Carry on as if you didn’t know

Stay for the curtain

Then you’ll know for certain

where this thing just might go.

Be in for the count

Spare no amount

Of yourself, as you spin down that drain

Your life’s in no rush

So what? When you flush

Maybe no stain will remain.

But stay on your guard

( this game can get hard )

and Band-Aids won’t curb the flow

when your heart starts leaking

cause you two quit speaking

You'll feel wronged, even though.

As you go through

Remind yourself, you knew

What kind of load it was you carried

Way back then,

When this shouldn’t have been,

Richard was already married.

I like how you brought it all back to him, it was him that would go down because of him.

Acidic from the first, not too good for thirst, but simply dashing in the smashing at the end! Harv

LOL. You know me!

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.

John F. Kennedy (1917-1963) Thirty-fifth President of the USA
