Recieving the given

  • Finding my wings. Be they of feather or leather, I shall wear them with pride, for they are my own..

Recieving the given

Show me your dreams,

let them flow like the rivers.

Influence me with your passion,

allow me a minute with your hope.

I dare to say I've seen it all,

infect my theroy with your heart.

Shy not from your bruises,

I've witnessed the shattered and bent.

Inspire me to move,

threaten to bring humanity forth.

I will show you honor,

and return the favor.

cool poem it makes me think of an abused person who you are trying to connect with very interesting.

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
