    Molly Cantranks

    Meet little molly cantranks,
Always planning or pulling her pranks.
She broke into my house, turned all the clocks back an hour,
set the timing off on my car, totally killing it's power.

Saran wrap on the toliet seat,
Glued the fridge door shut, so noone could eat.
Small blazing bag on the front porch, Stomp stomp splatter
why she'd roll in the yard, in fits of laughter.

She came over at easter, ruffled hair and scabby legs,
she went and stole all the candy from the eggs.
But I sat back with a grin, for I made my own funny,
a grin that only widened, as she ate that exlax bunny.

    lol ok

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
